Aye, aye!

I'm on it, Amy!

Today I had another meeting at church but I got up early and cleaned the house and scrubbed down the pantry cabinets. I made lunch and dinner ahead so when I finally got home from the meeting I had something easy to eat that was ALSO ok for points/staying on track.

Tomorrow -- food and a workout. Off to bed early to make it so.

Ugh

Tomorrow ends a week of singular lack of routine.

Paul's been crazy busy with work and I've been crazy busy with school/church stuff and then the weekend was a visit to MIL who lives out of town and then nursery so we didn't even get a break over the weekend to recoup.

Result? eating out to often and me blaoting up about 5 lbs. Ugh.

I need to cook tomorrow to feed my freezer.

Stuff

We had a quiet weekend. Kid asked to go theme parking (amazing how fast they figure that out!) so we took her for a little while on Saturday. It was VERY hot so I think we're going to have to go earlier or go later next time. Lunch time is just too too brutal.

Sunday school was pretty easy -- ;lots of kids though.

I got home to find a message from my friend M. and the nutshell is that I'm going to try to pump and mail her some expressed breast milk. My heart really goes out to them -- they're having such a ahrd time. I wish I could do more.

Mighty Leaf

Aside from the Toddler Afternoon Nap Struggle, I had a great day. Smooth, productive, and while I'm not done with cleaning the Man Pit, I'm in a good groove. Totally on program with the food log and all that other fitness stuff, the house stuff, work stuff, though I keep running in here for quickie updates and then running off again to tend something else.

I've been having tea before bed lately and my mom turned me on to Mighty Leaf. She picked up a couple bags at one of the hotels she was working at... Maybe the Ritz? I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm not wild about the lemon verbena but boy howdy! The "Green Passion" one had me dazzled.

Busy

Mad dash in here and I'll have to dahs back out.

Everyone is better, and I'm down to jsut the occassional cough.

I've had the 4th tree guy come to estaimte and I'm working with the neighbors for dealing with the tree that is on our shared property line.

I've cleaned most of the house in less than an hour, and just have kitchen and LR to go as far as "regular" cleaning. Then I can focus on laundry and The Man Pit we pretend is a master bedroom.

I have to work extra hours tomorrow so I'm trying to get tomorrow's chores done tooday as well. Hence Laundry Mountain.

While sick I changed my Metformin dose to 8 AM and 8 PM and it's working out a lot better than Noon and Midnight. I used to have it that way because I had to take my Levoxyl at 8 AM, but now I'm taking THAT at midnight when I go to bed. Sadly I keep loosing track of my multivitamin in there but I'll keep working on it. Better to skip the multi which is really just for insurance than a prescription med. But still...

I want to get back in the habit of it since we may or may not be TTC in Jan. Just in case, I also have been charting so... we'll see what we see.
